Raelyn graduated from the University of California Irvine in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in English. Since 2016, she has been working with students of all grade levels, primarily focusing on high school students. For years, Raelyn has worked as a math and English tutor for elementary and high school students. She’s also worked as an Instructional Aide for a local high school. While working in school counseling for 6th – 12th graders, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges that students face and how to help them overcome them.


Raelyn can tutor students in TK-12th grade in reading, writing, English, math, history, and science. She is available to tutor in person in Downey and Bellflower.


She is a passionate tutor with a unique skill set that sets her apart from others. Her extensive background in tutoring and counseling enables her to provide outstanding support for students struggling with motivation, learning disabilities, and other challenges. She values making students feel great about themselves by building a connection where positive reinforcement is implemented to keep students motivated.


Her academic background and experience equip her with the skills and knowledge to provide students with the necessary support to succeed. Raelyn has experience working closely with students with learning disabilities and currently has a caseload of students she is counseling at a middle school, all with Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).


Raelyn will be completing her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University, with a focus on Child Welfare and Attendance, in May 2023. When Raelyn is not tutoring, she enjoys playing video games, going for long runs, and reading books. Raelyn would love to work with your child. Contact us to request a session with Raelyn.
