Maria has been working with students since 2014. She has worked as an after-school teacher and behavioral therapist. She is attending American River College pursuing her degree in science to become an elementary school teacher.
Most of Maria's experience is with K – 8th grade students, but she can tutor students of all grade levels in various subjects. She is passionate about meeting the needs of all students and can help in math, English, science, and history. Maria is fluent in English and speaks Urdu, Pashto, and Punjabi.
Maria loves to help students achieve their academic goals while ensuring they have fun while learning. She strives to make a difference in students' lives by inspiring them with the knowledge to succeed. Maria takes the time to get to know her students by developing a personal understanding of each of them so she can meet their academic needs. Maria is available to tutor students online via Zoom.
Maria has worked with students with behavioral, emotional, and learning disabilities. This includes students with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, attention deficit disorder, social anxiety, general anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
